Pediatric Nursing Post-Master's Certificate

The Post-Master's Certificate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) track is designed for nurses with an already existing MSN and who now wants to specialize in advanced pediatric nursing.

Application Requirements

To be considered for admission, applicants must have the following:

  • Master's degree in nursing with a clinical specialization from a NLN or CCNE accredited program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • Current unrestricted licensure to practice as a RN

Applicants must complete an admission interview and the University and College of Nursing application materials.

Pre-Requisite Courses

The student must transfer in (with a grade of B or better) or complete the following pre-requisite graduate courses:

Health Assessment for Advanced Practice, i.e. 29NURS812
