I am doing my Masters in Computer Engineering majoring in VLSI Systems at University of Cincinnati and also working as an IT Assistant at College of Nursing,University of Cincinnati.

I have done my Bachelors of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, ranked amongst India's top 20 institutes. Before joining UC, I had a good learning experience working with Cisco for 1 year and I cleared the Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification during that period.

After graduation I plan to have some good industrial experience in my areas of interest that include VLSI,Networking,Computer Architecture,Embedded Systems, etc.

Other than studies, I am interested in music, dance and playing table tennis.

Born and brought up in India, this is my first time abroad away from the cozy comforts of home. I did my schooling from Loreto Convent and D.A.V. J.V.M. Ranchi, got a B.E. degree in C.S.E. from B.I.T. Mesra and then went on to work with Verizon India for two years.

Now I am back in school to learn about the multidisciplinary application of Computers. Currently juggling the job as an ITA with CATER along with studies, I hope to graduate with an M.S. in C.S. in 2009 and then subject myself to industrial exposure in the same domain.
