College of Nursing IT Training - Spring quarter
CATER is excited to announce training opportunities available the weeks of April 21-25 and April 28-May 2. We think you will find the content of each course extremely valuable – we have made an effort to design the courses so they address issues/questions specific to the College of Nursing IT community. Please see below for a list of classes, a brief description and their available times.
***Two Special Notes:
1. Due to the growing interest in Respondus (test generating software that integrates with blackboard), We are only scheduling one class on Wednesday, April 30th, however am requesting a minimum of 5 RSVPs as it is the first time the course has been offered. So, if you’re interested in this class, please RSVP as soon as possible. If the minimum is not met, we will get with those interested on an individual basis at a later date (or for those who cannot make that date and time).
2. We will be integrating a new technology in all the classrooms over the summer, the PRS System (Personal Response System) and would like to offer an informational meeting to discuss the product, the timeline of implementation and some practical application. This is a great learning tool that I’m extremely excited about and hope many of you are able to come and learn more about it to plan for the Fall Quarter.
To register, please send an e-mail to shelldn@ucmail.uc.edu <mailto:shelldn@ucmail.uc.edu> . Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.
