CATER - Center for Academic Technologies & Educational Resources

A Learning & Resource Center
for Students, Faculty and Staff

Information technology support and development for the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing is provided by the Center for Academic Technologies and Educational Resources (CATER). Simply stated, CATER's mission is to create a technology environment that facilitates the success of our faculty, staff, and students.

CATER works closely with Academic Information Technology & Libraries (AIT&L) and University of Cincinnati Information Technology (UCIT) to provide the best possible technology environment and support services available. The collaborative relationship between CATER, AIT&L and UCIT also provides faculty, staff and students of the College of Nursing optimal access to University wide technology services and best practices.

For technology related problems or assistance please email caterhelp@uc.edu.

Highlights

UCit Identity Management Project
UCit is beginning an exciting project that will provide for a single login and password for all of the UC systems and a Password Self Service system that will allow you to manage your password changes. This project will happen in phases, for a complete description of the project see the UCit Information Security Projects - Indentity Management (IDM) page. AIT&L has also prepared a good summary of what will be happening in Phase I and what systems will be affected (pdf).
