Drug Search from First DataBank
Drug Search from First DataBank located on the Medscape site can be queried either by name of drug or disease category. Although specific dosing and actions are not listed, the patient information sheet (patient monograph) is particularly helpful and thorough. Interactions, such as; drug to drug, drug to disease, drug to food, and drug to lab are easily viewed and quickly linked. Precautions are equally easy to view by quick links in pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnancy, and lactation.

PharmInfo Net
This drug information site also searches a database, this one by alphabetical listing which is easy to use if you do not know the exact spelling. Another feature about this site is that it offers frequently asked questions (FAQs) and answers about the drug.

RxList
An Internet drug index that lists over 4000 medications, providing an abundance of information for the practitioner as well as the consumer. Besides the usual information such as description, clinical pharmacology, clinical studies, indications and usage, contraindications, warnings, precautions, drug interactions, adverse reactions, drug abuse and dependence, overdose, dosage and administration, patient information, cost estimates and 3rd party formulary information is also provided. Although RxList assures every attempt for accuracy has been made they do not guarantee it.

Virtual Drug Store
The Virtual Drugstore is a reference guide to the latest in pharmaceuticals. This site provides information on the drug's use, how the drug works, its side effects and interactions and instructions on how best to use it. References to research articles are also included to provide more information.
