Setting the standard for dignified care...

Are you concerned about the health and well-being of someone who is aging or ill?

Are you seeking health-related information that is objective, accurate and easy to understand?

If you answered "YES" to either of the questions above, we may be able to help!

Welcome

Confronting unfamiliar and unexpected health-related issues can be frustrating and overwhelming as we age or care for others who are aging. At the Center for Aging with Dignity we help people anticipate, understand and address life-changing health and care concerns.

The Center for Aging with Dignity promotes the humanistic aspects of caring for older adults and their family. Our focus is on the 'caring' aspects of health, as opposed to the 'curing' aspects of medicine. Our programs and services are designed to meet the needs of individuals, families, community organizations, employers and health care providers.

The Center’s mission focuses on:

  • Promoting evidence-based research and practice
  • Enhancing and integrating gerontology curriculum
  • Fulfilling the educational needs of older adults, their families and health care professionals
Ninety-five percent of Americans find nurses’ opinions on health matters to be credible and trustworthy.

We can help you...

  • understand the common struggles people face as loved ones age or become ill.
  • make informed decisions to enhance health and quality of life.
  • participate in the health care process and navigate the complex system.
