Research Faculty Robin Donohoe Dennison, DNP, RN, CCNS Assistant Professor, Clinical Nursing College of Nursing University of Cincinnati EDUCATION 1975, AA in Nursing, Morris Harvey College (now University of Charleston), Charleston, WV BACKGROUND Professor Dennison has 30 years of experience in critical care nursing in roles as staff nurse, clinical educator, clinical nurse specialist, and consultant. She is a nurse entrepreneur starting her own business in 1984. She has been teaching continuing education programs national and internationally for the last 20 years while maintaining a clinical position by contracting her services as Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to several hospitals. TEACHING Professor Dennison is known for her expertise in critical care nursing, evidence-based practice, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and patient safety issues.
