BACKGROUND

Professor Dennison has 30 years of experience in critical care nursing in roles as staff nurse, clinical educator, clinical nurse specialist, and consultant. She is a nurse entrepreneur starting her own business in 1984. She has been teaching continuing education programs national and internationally for the last 20 years while maintaining a clinical position by contracting her services as Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to several hospitals.

TEACHING

Professor Dennison is known for her expertise in critical care nursing, evidence-based practice, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and patient safety issues.
