Shadow a Student Nurse
What?
This program will provide future nursing candidates with an opportunity
to experience the college life of a nursing student. Following a student
nurse schedule, you will have an experience that may include classroom
time, a dormitory visit, skills lab experiences, campus tours, meeting
faculty and interacting with other nursing students.
Who?
High school students if you:
- are a Junior or a Senior student
- are interested in a professional nursing career
- are willing to dress and act appropriately for
the college experience
- have written parental permission
- have written permission from your home school
When?
High school students can participate in the program during fall and
spring quarters, excluding the months of December, January and February.
Shadow schedules vary and are based on availability of nursing students.
Students must pre- register prior to desired college experience.
Cost?
$10.00 registration fee, lunch is included in visit.

All registered students receive an information
packet prior to their scheduled shadowing date. Participating students
must bring all required documents, signed and dated, to their scheduled
visit.
