Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)

SoTL is a community of scholars, in the greater Cincinnati area, whose interest is in improving teaching and learning in nursing.

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning is the process of assessing the effectiveness of instruction, as well as implementing new methods of instruction, and making one’s findings public. SoTL aims to increase learning by making inquiry into student learning a key component of the research mission by fostering both individual inquiry into learning and an interdisciplinary community that supports such inquiry.
