prescribe medications, and make referrals to other health care services. Earning
your MSN is also the initial step to earning your PhD.
I'm very busy with work and family
responsibilities. Can I still earn my MSN?
Yes, most programs offer both part-time programs
and full time programs. Contact the program director at the link in
the next question to get more information about time requirements.

I had an undergraduate statistics course outside
of nursing is that acceptable?
Any undergraduate statistics course is acceptable. For example,
business or psychological statistics would be acceptable if they emphasis
application.
Do I have to take a standardized test for admission?
Yes
the GRE test or the GMAT tests are both accepted if they are fewer
than 5 years old. However, if you want to be considered for a scholarship
the GRE test is required. If you already hold a master’s degree
an admission test is not required but a GRE is still necessary to be
considered for a scholarship.

Advisor, Loren Carter, and the College of Nursing.
Before you take the GRE test the test center will give you the opportunity
to indicate the college and program you want your scores sent to. When
you receive your GRE scores at home in the mail please notify Loren
Carter immediately. This will alert him to start checking for
your scores in the electronic reporting system. Your notification
will help expedite your application process since he would otherwise
have to speculate on their arrival.
